WDO/WDI:
In addition to the exterior and interior of the inspection, I will be looking for any active or inactive infestations of wood destroying organisms or wood destroying insects, fungi rot or conducive conditions. Wood destroying insects may be carpenter ants, wood boring beetles, termites, etc.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES UPON REQUEST: Sprinkler systems, spas, pools, well flow tests, septic dye tests, water sample tests and radon screening.
Many people ask me what carpenter ants and termites look like. Below, the first two picturesshow you acarpenter ant andit's size compared to a human finger. Picture #3 is wood damage caused by carpenter ants. Picture #4shows aPacific Coast termite. Picture #5 is a Subterranean termite. Picture #6 is a winged termite. Picture #7 shows Subterranean termite tubes emerging froma toilet bolt hole. These tubes are normally found in crawlspaces. These are some of the signs I look for while inspecting the crawlspace.
